Your private, local-first music library & metadata manager.
Select a folder on your computer to store your library.
A vault.json file will be
created to manage your metadata.
Suno Local Vault is designed to provide professional music makers with a high-fidelity, local-first management system. No cloud, no subscription – just your art and your disk.
Simply click the "Open Local Vault Folder"
button and select the directory where your music is stored. The application will scan all
subfolders and create a vault.json file to track your library state.
The app automatically organizes files into Folders based on the ID3 Album tag. If a file has no album tag, it moves to "Unsorted". You can create new folders manually and drag-and-drop songs between them.
Click any song to open the Detail View. You
can edit the Persona (Artist), Genre, BPM, and Key. For Suno creators, we have dedicated
sections for Prompts and Lyrics. These changes are saved both to
vault.json and directly to the **MP3 ID3 tags**.
Personalize your library by clicking the cover art
in the Detail View. You can upload any image, which will be stored in a local
covers/ subfolder. This ensures your custom covers persist across reloads.
Use the Persistent Footer Player to listen to your tracks. It features high-fidelity waveform visualization, precise seeking, and volume control. The footer allows management while you browse other folders.
Right-clicking a song card allows you to **Delete** it. This will permanently remove the file from your local hard drive. This action cannot be undone.
We do not upload your music, metadata, or images to any server. All processing happens entirely within your browser's sandboxed environment and on your local device.
Data is stored in your chosen folder via vault.json. We do not use persistent
server-side databases or track your usage habits. You are in full control of your data.
The metadata created is compatible with standard ID3 tag readers, making your organized library portable to other professional audio applications.
This application uses the File System Access API. You grant permission per-session to read and write to your specific chosen folder. We have no access to the rest of your system.
